The predicted lipid-binding sites are coloured as follows: Green for the amphipathic helical regions (residues 225–242) in the alpha-subunit and (residues 215–232) in the beta-subunit; red for the amphipathic helical region in alpha-subunit (residues 113–130) and also for the putative lipid membrane inserting region within the beta-subunit (residues 134–151).
