Typical trajectories of the center of mass of a chemotactic cell with a perfectly absorbing object of unit radius placed in its path. All parameters with the exception of C₀ are set to unity. The value of C₀ is equal to 10. The equation describing these paths is given by Eq. (11). Initially the cells are placed at z = -5 with d = 0.001, 0.5 – 4.5 in 0.5 step intervals. In this diagram we do not consider any mechanical interaction between the cell and the sphere.
