  1. mRNA fold changes and corresponding values of enzyme activities in the model at the different time point, normalized against 11 hr data. Data from DeRisi et al. [1]. LCB4 – LCB5 and DPP1-LPP1 are a pair of enzymes with similar substrates and/or products and they represent the sphingoid base kinase (X36) and the phosphatidate phosphatase (X39), respectively. FAS1- FAS2 and LCB1-LCB2 correspond to sub-units for fatty acid synthase (X52) and serine palmitoyl transferase (X57), respectively. The three ELO's represent the battery of enzymes involved in fatty acid elongation represented in the model by Elo1p (X59).
