Figures illustrate the CD4 cell dynamics from day 550 to day 900 keeping N and k v constant: k v = 1.2 × 10-5 and N = 200. For A, k Tm = k v , the virus rapidly infects the new target cells impeding the proliferation of the CD4 cells. In B, k Tm = k v /10, the effect of the overexploitation of target cells by the virus is still evident. In C and D this effect is diminished, with k Tm = k v /20 and k Tm = k v /30 respectively.
