Table 5 Summary and comparison of two pathogen system (S2) vs. one pathogen system (S1). The pathogen is indicated in the parenthesis. S1(P6 + P10) indicates the sum of the individual values from the pathogen independently whereas S2(P6 + P10) indicates the system where the household isolation introduces pathogen dependency and the pathogens function jointly. The outcomes of peak prevalence and incidence proportion (during the 150 day period) along with their 95% confidence intervals (based on Monte-Carlo simulations) are shown in the summary section. The comparison section displays the non-parametric p values (based on the Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon test) obtained when comparing the pathogen systems over the simulation runs
