Expression values are shown for down-regulated genes in blue and up-regulated genes in orange. Expression ratios are calculated relative to time 0 hpi (P. infestans growing on potato dextrose agar (PDA) medium). Hierarchical clustering shows two distinct groups during the infection of the leaf tissue corresponding to the biotrophic (12, 24, and 36 hpi) and necrotrophic (48, 60 and 72 hpi) phases, respectively.
